Music mogul, rapper and husband to singer Beyonce, Jay-Z has been a mentor 23-year old British rapper, Tinchy Stryder. The British rapper admitted that although Jay-Z doesn't always have a lot to say but when he does, its like words of wisdom worth listening.
Tinchy Strider said that the music mogul told him that 'People always say they can handle it at the start. You have to pace yourself.' and that he was referring to success.
"He says key things, he is not someone who speaks for the sake of it." he added.
Well, Tinchy Stryder better take those words of wisdom to heart if he wants to be as successful as Jay-Z.
Jay-Z is the former CEO of Def Jam Recordings, one of the founders of Roc-A-Fella Records, owns his own clothing line Rocawear, holds the record for the most number one albums by a solo artist on the Billboard 200, has sold approximately 40 million albums worldwide, received ten Grammy Awards and has the lead singer of the Destiny's Child as his wife.
If that ain't success, well its hard to tell what is?
